Dr. Rola Shaheen, Provincial Lead, Mammography Quality Management Program
Dr. Rola Shaheen has been Chief and Medical Director of Diagnostic Imaging at Peterborough Regional Health Center since 2015. From 2012 to 2015, she served as Chief of Women’s Imaging at Mafraq Hospital in Abu Dhabi, a major government hospital, where she spearheaded the development of breast imaging programs. Before that, she was Chief of Radiology and Director of Women’s Imaging at Harrington Memorial Hospital, a community hospital affiliated with Beth Israel Medical Centre at Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Shaheen received her medical degree from the University of Jordan in Amman, followed by training in diagnostic radiology at the University of Toronto. She then completed a women’s imaging fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Centre at Harvard Medical School.
